Aspects of teacher performance is one of the important aspects to be noticed by the institution Ma’arif Sunan

Ampel in development in the field of education, so that quality education be increased. Therefore the motivation of working teachers, principal leadership style and wanted to know the answer, so that the quality of education in the institutions of Education Ma’arifSunan Ampel more increases.

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of work motivation and leadership style of the principal of the institution on the educator performance Ma’arif Sunan Ampel Beji. Data collection was done through the dissemination of a questionnaire and carried out on 43 educators. Data analysis in this study uses the help of SPSS version 17.

A classic assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis which includes the test t test, F, R2, to test and prove the hypothesis research

Results of the regression analysis gain equation: Y=5.036+0,384 X1 +0,860 X 2 +e            means performance is affected by the motivation of working educators and principal leadership style.

Results of the regression analysis coefficient determination value also acquired (           f 0,799 79,9% this means a variable performance variables influenced by educators working motivat           d leadership styles while remaining principal amounted to 20.1% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study, such as work experience, work attitude, skill levels and other factors that are not examined by this study.

Test t calculate the retrieved variable motivation (X 1) 3.333 influence positively significant and this can be seen from the significant value (0,002 < 0,05), whereas the variable style of leadership (X2)9.146 influence positively significant and this can be seen from the significant value (0,000 < 0,05) means that if the variable motivation and leadership styles is improved then the educator performance will increase.

F test obtained F count >F table (84.701 >3,23) and the level of significance (0,000 < 0,05) this indicates that the motivation and leadership styles influence the simultaneous performance of educators.
